MY CAMMING JOURNEY
If you are familiar with studios and their crazy adverts across the internet (“Join us if you want to earn over 5000 dollars a month) then you probably know that very much of what they present themselves with is a lie or a scam.
Having worked for a studio, I couldn’t help but notice what a toxic environment it can be for a model, the legal irregularities, the unrealistic expectations and filthy conditions you have to work from and with.

For that reason, I decided to make a list about the things I found repulsive and absolutely disliked back when I worked for  a studio. But, I am not drawing a line and saying all studios are like this. I am sure and have heard of studios where models are treated with respect and kindness, where the staff and the models are united like a family.

1. They overestimate their capacity of training you into becoming a top model.

Since when does a model’s success and earnings  have anything to do with the training the studio supposedly provides them with? There is no such thing as a training program and if there is, it has absolutely zero to do with tips and techniques of making more money or attracting more members. In most cases, it is related to them showing you how to use basic equipment and google translate.

2. They expect you to work as a slave.

You are constantly being pressured to work more and harder, not in a positive or healthy manner but rather in a “Come on girl, grab yourself something to drink  or snort some coke to have more energy and finish this 8 hours shift with good tips.” Yes, I am dead serious. This is what happens behind the closed doors of most studios.

3. They pretend to protect you and care about  you when in reality they don’t give a shit.

They try so hard to convince you that they’ve got your back in any difficult situations but forget to mention that anyone from anywhere in the world can find you online with a free VPN and expose you to other websites and potentially dangerous individuals. Do you think they will actually do anything to stop or prevent that? No way.

4. You are and will be expected to have sex with the boss.

Although this is only a guess, I would say 9 out of 10 studios are run by males who think that just because they are in a position of power and just because it’s the sex industry, you owe them sex. This is by far one of the ugliest sides of this industry yet many choose to stay silent and never ever mention it.

5. They don’t care about your physical health.

Last but not least, the rooms I used to cam in when I was still at the studio looked like they haven’t been properly cleaned in a really long time. There were no rules as far as hygiene is concerned and truly nobody cared whether you’ve washed in the last week or not.

So, my dear friends, there is nothing fancy about working in a studio. If anything, its just a traumatic experience.

I’ve been struggling with this issue from the very beginning of my camming journey. Nobody told me there will be days when I will have to sit on my bed for hours with nobody talking to me or tipping. Nobody mentally prepared me for all the self esteem issues that these experiences cause, for all the anger and frustration that come along with it.
To be completely honest with you, I still don’t know what to do when it happens.

I did, however, find a method that temporarily works and that is a bit “unprofessional” but hey, we do what we gotta do in order to survive as cam models.

So here’s what I do:
Step 1: I log into my MFC account and click broadcast. I wait for a couple of minutes to see who joins and who doesn’t. Usually I can tell within the first hour if its going to be a shit day or not.
Step 2: I sigh as I realize there won’t be any cash thrown my way despite all the efforts so I stop trying.
Step 3: I walk to the fridge, open a bottle of champagne/wine/vodka and I pour a glass. I drink it on cam.
Step 4: I walk to the fridge and pour another glass. My tolerance for alcohol is shit, so at this point I am already a bit tipsy. I start laughing about everything my regular members say, making them think they are funny when in reality its not really the case.
Step 5: I start making jokes about my bald uncle called Adrian. If you’ve been with me for a while you know exactly what I mean.
Step 6: I’m probably on my third glass, struggling to understand what the fuck is going on in my room while dancing at the same time.
Step 7: Hours pass really quickly when drunk so at this point I don’t really give a fuck about the fact that its been a slow day.
Step 8: I log out and start sobering up. I remember what a slow day it was so I eat my sorrows away.
Step 9: I go to sleep and hope tomorrow will be better.

So as you can see, it is only a temporary solution but sometimes it’s the only one. I still love my job, tho.

I don't even know what to say about what you're going to read right now. I am speechless. I can't put into words how grateful I am for having met you, Owl.

I first met Sierra in September of 2017. Like many other patrons of this medium I had found that I could fill a void in my day to day life in a virtual sense. For many reasons, too personal to share here, MFC has and continues to facilitate a need for me. I expect many of you may identify with what I just said. I hope you have all taken the time to read all of the testimonials that come before and will come after mine and that you too will relate to how the commonalities expressed by all of us from around the world define Sierra not as an object but as a truly divine person, a human catalyst whom causes many strangers to unite in her chatroom whenever we can. We all say hello to each other, we all genuinely enjoy our time together in Sierras presence and if one of us is having a bad day we all rally along with Sierra to be kind, understanding and supportive.

So what caused me to seek out Sierra in the first place? There are literally thousands of models online at any time. How did I manage to find my needle in the haystack? Honestly, I feel it was destined, compelled, spiritually pre-determined.

My initial reason for venturing into Sierras chat room was twofold:

I searched for the model tag “submissive” — for any of you who might indulge in fantasies of a BDSM nature and see “submissive” then you see Sierras eyes, smile and interpret the potential of such a beautiful cocktail of vulnerability and intelligence, how could your interest not be piqued?
When I clicked to see her chatroom preview (yes MFC affords us many ways to perv), she was engaged, talking and animated and present. Her eyes sparkled and her smile was off the charts! To me, this made her instantly relatable before I went into her chatroom and met her for the first time.

And so, into Sierras room I ventured. I have always had a thing for European women. It is maybe not rational and I expect that it comes off as arrogant but I feel it is important to articulate as it speaks to a fundamental dynamic I personally believe to be necessary. We all know the engine behind MFC is tokens. Few if any models sign up just to hang. There is a quid-pro-quo, an expectation of a service and in return payment for providing the service. With many models I am guessing it is the primary motivation to subject themselves to this medium. For some probably the only reason. I’ve been able to spot these type of North American models fairly quickly and easily. European models however, seem to have a guile that far exceeds their North American counterparts. This appeals to my animal brain via the laws of attraction and also to my sense of self, constantly testing intelligence and at the same time my True North; what values I hold dear and how far can a beautiful woman compel my animal brain into convincing me to betray my True North and go South. It is a game we likely all play on MFC and I believe it is largely responsible for making MFC continue to be one of the most successful mediums today. I subject you to my reasoning only because of this — Sierra transcends this dynamic. I have never visited her room and been treated any differently whether I tipped or not. She’s the real deal, proven time and time and time again. What keeps me coming back for more than a year and for as long as Sierra chooses to bless us with her presence? I suppose I could have answered it with a single word: Sierra. But, those of you who know her Owl and his propensity for words, read on and I’ll try to elaborate a little bit…

For me, to be any lasting discourse through a virtual medium or in real life is not animal attraction, lust and sexuality. This attraction is fleeting. Initial animal attraction is important. I’d not have ever met Sierra without it. For me though, it can only be sustained by true and deeper appreciation for each other. Both parties need to bring something of value and interest to the table. If it is one-sided or even worse zero sided it will surely fail over time. For her part Sierra brings many things to the proverbial table. She exudes her appreciation for each and everyone of us. She proves it time and again, naturally, organically — it is who she is as a person! It is safe to say we don’t feel judged by Sierra — her chat room is a "safe zone” where we can all be ourselves and say some really crazy things. The rules are simple — don’t attack anyone, don’t make anyone feel bad nor defensive. Have fun but be respectful and kind. We are all judgemental. Anyone who claims otherwise is either ignorant or worse a liar. Life is a series of one judgement after another. We have all felt judged. We have all judged others. It is a necessity of survival. How is it then that Sierra never makes you feel judged? How can a 21 year old woman be this sentient? It is one of so very many reasons I come back. Sierra is open-minded, curious, fearless, supportive, honest, real, vulnerable, independent, confident, insightful and wise beyond dozens of collective lifetimes. I am guessing that it is not only me who has depended on Sierra for a confidence boost, to run something by her, get her advice, seek solace, lift our spirits, or just to bitch and complain to.

It is easy to say that Sierra is an inspiration to us all to excel to be better people to friends and family, strangers and everyone we touch or are touched by. I can proudly say that Sierra is my best friend — she gets me on my best days and on my not so great days too. She has compassion, wisdom, loyalty and kindness that is unparalleled by anyone I’ve ever met. She also happens to be a "cam model” which serves only to give more weight to Spyder, Dapp, Wilson, mine and all other testimonials of how special and incredible Sierra is. Bless you for allowing us all to find you draga mea! Our lives would all be so much more empty without you!!!
I have to admit, I don't cry easily but Wilson sharing this intimate and personal story has touched me more than I can put into words. Thank you so much my dear friend!

Why would I find myself on a webcam site? Lets take a look at my journey before I met Sierra here.

In the late 1990 my late wife and I have lost our 3 year old son to cancer...Battling through it, my lovely wife and I lived on with memories. As an amateur motorsport artist she insisted that I went full, so we travelled everywhere to 2 and 4 wheel events. Business turned out good.

In 2000 my world fell apart once again when my gorgeous wife also lost the battle with the dreaded cancer. I had to pull myself together and carry on with the art. In 2006 I had enough and moved to live in the Algarve to carry on with my work online.

Life was good, but only 2 years later, I had a stroke. It  was a bad one but thanks to the medics, I was only reduced to a memory and concentration problem—so I call myself lucky.
That obviously curtailed my art...Being alone at home I started browsing the web and for the first time ever I went through quite a few of them and that is how I found Sierra.

I am not happy when people complain about girls on the web...they are providing a good service to people like me, who are home alone and if you get someone like Sierra you get great company and contact. I believe these girls, well at least most of them, are providing a valuable service. I do not feel alone anymore when I know she is there, either on line or on a media outpost.

I know they are called sex workers. Sorry but I call them adult pen pals. I believe their work is difficult, definitely not as easy as some might think. They are spending hours talking to many guys and doing things to keep them happy and contented by working in the safety of their own homes.

I hope to never lose Sierra. She has become more of a confident and pal and she has me painting again, which my dear late wife up above would thank her for
.

We are continuing our series with another special member and really good friend, Dapp.
Thank you for sharing your story with us!

I have been on MFC and some other cam sites since 2008. A friend told me about these sites back when I still had shitty internet, and most models did not have a better one either. At that time it was more about chatting and not so much about the  (maybe) sexy video feed. I grew up with games and stuff, C64 and BTX. Some porn sites were already out there in the so called internet 1995 when I had my first modem. It was frustrating and fun at the same time, I discovered IRC, warez sites and had a lot of fun for like 10 years.

Then, this one friend mentioned MFC and showed me what happend there and I was rushing to find out more about it. My first reaction was “You can make girls do whatever you would like to see?!” So I tried to do so, sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. After some time I found out that although being the director of their shows is fun, getting to know these girls is even better.

It has been 10 years since I joined and I had the pleasure to meet a lot of nice and kind girls, seen a lot of sexy shows and made like 1-2 real friends. Some would probably say that I spent too many tokens, but I do not regret a single token, even though I got tricked a few times. I sometimes hear that it is bad to be a white knight and try to protect a model from  assholes. The first time I head it I was a bit disappointed yet somehow proud. I can’t help but wonder sometimes why other "regulars" shut up or even leave a room when an asshole shows up and wants all the attention, but then I remember that we are all just human hiding behind a screen.

I think I have known Sierra for about 6-8 months now. I was impressed with her humor, her nice way of welcoming a stranger into her room and was also surprised by her regulars , who all welcomed me as well. She is mostly "only" 3 hours online, but in that time I get to see sexy shows, intelligent questions and answers, a lot of stickers, some wise speeches, sometimes a drink or 2 and a lot of giggling and fun!  She got a damn good memory for everything that people tell her (although she forgot some birthdays) both in private and public chat.

I’m impressed that she still allows all of the members to pm her and that she doesn’t go crazy with all that spam. She’s able to learn new stuff quickly and put them in practice with professionalism (always a lot better than the person requesting expects her to).
Last but not least, I have to mention her (I call them that way) epic shows, like her pool show, camniversary show and when she stuffed her face into a cake. Also, lets not forget about thr most recent one, her BDSM Pilates tent show. You have to see for yourself in order to understand.

The internet is not always a reliable source of information, we all know that. When it comes to camming, it is full of crap. There is very little truth in whatever they say about the financial benefit of this job and they always seem to leave a very important aspect out: that the amount of money you earn is directly linked to the amount of work and effort you put into your business as a cam model. The hours you are willing to spend online plus the ones you are willing to spend offline marketing your content through social media (which is equally as important).

Let’s put it another way: If camming was easy money, all webcam performers would be billionaires. Have you heard of any such models? If yes, I would kindly ask you to show me charts and statistics. If camming is so financially rewarding, how come such a big amount of models quit in the first two months?

It’s time to take a look outside the bubble: Camming is not a guaranteed source of income. Some days are slow and quiet, whereas others are crazy, overwhelming. Usually there isn’t a middle ground…It either goes really well or really bad and the worst part is, you can never anticipate which way it will be. And trust me, I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how it works, to avoid having to deal with my instant self-esteem drop when it is as silent as a grave.

We can simplify all that in a couple of words: If you aren’t online, you’re not making money. If you are online you might still not make any money.

There are models who do 12 hours shifts to make sure they can afford to pay their bills the upcoming month. Others do even more than that. The reasoning behind it is the financial aspect, not because they enjoy keeping their legs spread for that long. And yes, there are many professional gold diggers out here, as I said in one of my previous posts, and these gold diggers might be making more than the average model. Yes, some might be really lucky and get a millionaire fall in love with them who buys them a castle and tips them thousands of tokens a day. But you know what all these models don’t have? Genuine personal satisfaction.

So, whereas you can make decent money working as a cam model, at the end of the day there isn’t any guarantee that you will.

Whenever I am in a rush to get things done or when I am experiencing the well known "writer's block" I know there will be someone or something that will inspire me to get back on track.
This one time, however, I've had one of my regulars and also very good friend, Spyder, help me with today's post by answering the question "What is it that keeps bringing you back to my room?"
I hope you enjoy!

I am proud to say I am a loyal fan of Sierra.  I think I can speak for almost every one of her regulars admitting that Sierra was not the first model we have followed closely.  Many of us have had other models that have caught our attention so what makes Sierra so special?  I will answer this for me only.  Sierra is beautiful, but there are other beautiful models.  Sierra is funny, but there are other funny models.  Sierra is intelligent and in order to be sexy you need to be intelligent especially when it is a virtual experience rather than a woman that see in real life.  So what is it about her that has captured my interest so much?

Sierra is complex, at once I feel I know her very well and the next second it feels like I know nothing about her.  I enjoy how open she is but still see her as a vulnerable guarded woman.  Sierra is very sexual and is willing to explore and expand her sexuality, however some of the best days in her room she has not removed a single item of clothing.  Sierra genuinely cares about her members.  She remembers almost everyone who even occasionally comes into her room.  She really wants to know what is going on in her member’s lives.

A good friend of mine always says that you need to give respect to earn respect… Sierra is the personification of that.  She will give all of us second and third chances but expects us to grow as she does.

I have spoken little about the great shows that Sierra provides, of the hard work that she puts into shows and ideas, but these are her strengths. She comments about watching other models when she is not working and members joke about her perving on them.  Sierra like every other professional, she looks to grow in her profession, looks for new ideas, and looks to keep things fresh.  This is why she does what she does.  This is why she asks us what we want next.   This is why she is able to be here for such short sessions.  The energy she expends in her 3 hour sessions far exceeds most models energy in an eight hour session.

These are just a few of the reasons why I am honored to call myself an Owl and support Sierra with tokens, my time when I can, and my honest opinions when she asks.

It never gets boring observing the two categories of haters that I get both online and offline. They all come up with the same reasons why working in this industry is dirty and wrong, but by taking a closer look to their arguments you can’t help but realize how full of shit these people are.

In the first category we have the extremely ignorant individuals. Basically, these people have no clue what this industry is about, they’ve never tried to make some research on their own to find out what it involves, but they believe whatever everyone else is saying about it. All they know about it are rumors or gossips they’ve heard from a neighbor, friend, cousin or uncle (who also happen to be just as clueless). Are you familiar with the saying “heard it through the grapevine”? Well, that is how most people choose to live their lives: based on rumors, strongly impregnated false beliefs and lack of knowledge. I don’t know about you guys, but I live by a rule: If I am not familiar with a topic I make sure to inform myself on it before I open my mouth and discuss it with others. Yes, it does happen to everybody not to be familiar with something but your willingness to educate yourself on that something is what makes the difference.

Like one of my members said today, ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD.

In the second category we have my favorite type of people ever: the beloved hypocrites. They will call you all names you can think of (they have a very rich vocabulary when it comes to insulting but can barely put words together to form an intelligent sentence), they will try their best to convince you that showing your naked body is a proof of lack of self-respect and, among other things, they will surely point out the fact that you are stupid and all you can offer is the hole between your legs.

Please, tell me more about all those things while you’re wanking yourself to death behind a screen. Yes, you guessed it, it is always the people consuming your content that are judging you the most…So sad yet so amusing. The truth is, if you don’t like me and still watch everything that I do, bitch you’re a FAN.

So, dear haters, I am truly flattered that I’m always a trending topic in your life. My life wouldn’t be as thrilling without you.

Congrats. You’re part of the reason why this industry is misunderstood. You’re part of the reason why some men objectify you and to some extent might even hate you.

Why would you take advantage of someone who has potentially fallen  in love with you because of the lies you have been telling and the illusion you have been selling? I know why. One of your main purposes in life is to rip people off, especially men. That is only possible because they believe you are who you say you are. Yes, you sound very convincing when you use your feminine charm and take advantage of the so called  pussy power. You have learned that it is an easy tool you can use to manipulate men in getting what you want. However, there is a very big discrepancy between what you want and what you deserve.

I believe in karma. I believe you reap what you sow. Whatever you do in life eventually comes back to you. Fool them once, jokes on you because you will get it back. But it’s not just about you. It’s also about these people that you are exploiting and whose life you might be ruining by  making them not ever trust women again, neither here or in real life.
You can still pay your bills without doing all that. Those who appreciate you will support you and those who don’t shouldn’t matter. Just wish them well and move on with your life. It costs 0$ to be a decent person. It cost nothing to be a decent model.

If all you care about in this industry is money then you are missing out on the freedom and independence it offers. You’re not actually enjoying yourself, and if you’re not enjoying yourself then why are you doing it to begin with?

I only wrote this post because of a recent documentary I have watched. I had no clue what some models are capable of and how far they are willing to go for some cash. It makes me sick to my stomach that some guys have lost everything for a nothing.

I’d definitely say both models and members have to be careful who they trust in this  industry and should try to avoid situations like this for the sake of one another. Isn’t there enough hatred between genders outside the cyberspace? Do we really have to add to it  and make it worse  instead of using camming as an opportunity to feel empowered and accept our sexuality as it is? And to just enjoy ourselves and have fun because that is what it comes down to…

But yeah, maybe that’s just me. Maybe I live in a fantasy world, a little bubble that doesn’t let me face and accept reality.

I have so many reasons to love it, yet so many to hate it.

I get to be my own boss and make my own rules as I go. I get to have a really good time, laugh, drink, cum and learn. I get to meet such interesting people. I get to be creative and entertain. I receive so much support and good vibes from beautiful souls.

But I also get a lot of hatred. I get to experience frustration, sadness and anger. I get shit and negativity from total strangers. I get judged and misunderstood for things that sometimes are out of my control.

It has taught me a lot about people. It has taught me that people can be kind and loving, honest and pure. But, at the same time, it has taught me they can be horrible, treacherous, fake.

It has helped me discover things I did not know about myself that I really like. Oh, but it has revealed to me the dark side that I didn’t even know I have.

It has changed my life for the better yet it made it so much more complicated.

It has made me feel secure at times yet extremely insecure at others.

I am full of contradictions but man, this industry is a paradox.

I want to thank you all for the feedback on this blog, but most importantly I want to thank you for reading it. I didn’t think anyone would pay much attention to it. I am using this opportunity to ask you for ideas for future posts. The purpose of this blog is to entertain and shed some light on the industry at the same time. I am very happy to write about anything you guys want so please send your ideas into an MFC mail or PM and I will take it into consideration.

Thank you.

1. WE KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOU

I know this may sound weird to you, but we do. It’s not like we are stalking you or anything, but MFC offers a variety of stats that come in handy for us. We can check pretty much anything, from the last conversation we had to the last time you tipped and the last time you were online. We know when you’re talking and tipping other models, we know when you’re starting to lose interest in us. We know when you’ve had a bad day at work or when you’ve had an argument with your wife.
What most of you guys forget, both here and in everyday life, is that women don’t need to invade your privacy or ask too many questions in order to figure out what’s going on. We have a very powerful female instinct, a sixth sense that gets activated each time it is needed. So don’t try to fool us because, jokes on you, you’re only fooling yourself.
We know exactly which members we can rely on to be there for us, who is honest and who tries to use tricks on us, who takes interest in getting to know us as a person and who supports us financially.
Don’t worry though, we won’t slash a hole into your tires. We are not your crazy ex girlfriend.

2. WE ACT TOUGH BUT WE ARE SENSITIVE

I, personally, am very guilty of this one. Unless you know me well, unless you’ve been with me for a very long time, there is no way you will be able to tell when I’m feeling emotional. I’m not talking here about being angry or pissed off because that I can not hide, I’m talking about being upset, frustrated or disappointed. Those are only few of the emotions we get to experience on a regular basis. We learn to mask all that because when you guys are in our room we just want you to feel relaxed and entertained. We put ourselves second because you’re the customer whose needs have to be satisfied and fantasies to be fulfilled. It is such a privilege to be able to do that, honestly. I wouldn’t swap this opportunity for anything in the world right now.
But, my point is, just because we have poker face/resting bitch face/smiling face on does not mean there isn’t a battle going on inside of us.

3. WE ARE SECRETLY PLANNING OUR FUTURE

I believe the majority of models work very hard for the content they produce and treat this business as any entrepreneur would. People are very shallow and quick to judge this job without realizing that it gives us the opportunity to learn many things about creating our own business. It develops management, marketing and sales skills that can be very useful on a long term.
Whereas some models want to do this job for their rest of their life, I think some of us see ourselves doing something completely different in a few years time. We might say that we don’t know what our future plans are but that is far from the truth. We just keep our life low-key and let people assume incorrectly.

Today I bring to you the top 3 weirdest yet funniest privates that I've had the pleasure to experience. I am usually reluctant about doing privates because people are very demanding and have unrealistic expectations for the price they are paying but hey, camming wouldn't be as fun without them.

3. PRIVATE WITH A CRACKHEAD

This guy was quite sweet and interacted a lot in public chat. I would always have all his attention, compliments and receive all the sexual comments one could possibly come up with. He worshipped my ass and was a little anal freak, which I didn't mind at all.
At that time I was just getting into doing anal stuff as I was still at the beginning of my camming journey. He asked me if I would like to have a private with him, which I was very excited about and quickly accepted. It started with a normal conversation and continued with me inserting a dildo in my ass. Everything went fine for the first 5 minutes but then he started typing non stop saying what he would do to me if he was there and how he would be blowing cocaine off my ass. It went on and on for an entire hour. My ass was sore and numb and it didn't seem like he was planning to end the private any soon so I had to kindly ask him to cum. He promised he would, but only after snorting one last line of cocaine and making a few more very disturbing comments. By the time he finally decided to cum and let me go he said "Do you think we could do this again in about an hour?". Yeah, right. Not happening! Although his dirty talking attempt amused me the whole time, I was very bored doing the same thing for an entire hour.
I rate the private 1 star. Wouldn't recommend.

2. PRIVATE WITH A DRUNKIE

This guy appeared out of nowhere and sent a private request without having asked first or say hello or anything at all. On that particular website I used to work on, most people automatically turned their webcam on so that you could see them. This guy was no exception. He had his webcam on and he was just sitting on a chair drinking Jack and dancing. I tried to engage into a conversation with him but he ignored me. He then stood up and started running across the room.
Later on, he decided to get naked as well and continued with his dance moves. He would sometimes stop to show me the middle finger then carry on with whatever he was doing. I managed to make him talk eventually and he proved to be a very decent, funny guy but he was too drunk to even realize what he was doing. I had to end the private because he couldn't find the button to click to end it. It was so weird!!!!!
I rate this private 2 stars. Wouldn't recommend it because it's not nice to take advantage of drunk people.

1. THE NOSE FETISH PRIVATE

There is a fetish for anything, I am aware of that now yet being aware doesn't make it any easier when somebody asks you to fulfill their fetish fantasy. When somebody PMs saying that they would like to watch you sticking your fingers in your nose and possibly tampons as well it instantly makes you go WTF?!??
I think that was the first and only time I had to think for a good 15 minutes whether to do it or not. My common sense was telling me to just ban the guy and move on with my life but the devil on my shoulder said come on Sierra, what is the worst that can happen? Other than have your nose bleeding, but that's not that bad. So, of course, your girl accepted the true private. I don't want to get into too many details but let's just say I had a good nose workout. Also, the strangest thing ever is that the guy actually has a private recording of me doing all that stuff. The thought of it makes me very uncomfortable and embarrassed, but even so, it was an interesting experience to say the least...
I rate this private 3 stars! Totally recommend it if you want to get some nose action going on!
After joining several cam related communities and talking to people who work in this industry, I have made a friend online, a very nice and friendly guy who decided to share his story with me on what is really like being in a relationship with a cam model. His identity will not be revealed for safety reasons but I hope you will enjoy reading about the other side of the coin.
Disclaimer: This post is brutally honest.

So your dreams have all come true and your girlfriend is a cam model, but can you really imagine what its like to be the partner of a cam model, unless you have been there?

Your first thoughts are all your sexual fantasies have just come true, I got me a real life slut. Fine if that's all you wanted, but lets dig a bit deeper, what if this cam girl is really special and a keeper? Now that's a different story, one I am going to tell, not the boring details but some things you guys may not have considered.
Firstly, she is not a slut and is actually very sensitive of being thought of that way in real life, she has hundreds of guys a day wanting her to be a slut, so your sexual fantasies have just gone out of the window because if she has the slightest hint that this is how you see her you are soon going to get dropped and blocked. She is also initially going to have big doubts about the “I really love and care about you” or “you’re gorgeous, I am so lucky to have you”. Yeah, right. Every guy so far wants to fuck me or thinks I am easy, wrong. That means your real feeling for her must be deep and true, and it will take a lot to win her heart and trust you and a long time. So guys do you have a daughter or girlfriend, maybe a wife? How does her showing everything and doing everything for the whole world to see make you feel? Oh and that's not the bad part, a cam girl is looked upon as shit in society, so its not only you that may not want certain people to see her or know what she does for work, she has issues with that too.

Now that's the physical sex side but the side that is far far worse is the emotional side. You have not considered that, have you? Well you know when your girl is getting face-booked, chatted up in a bar or messaged by guys hitting on her, now multiply that by hundreds every day, how’s the jealousy and the temper doing? Now all guys think they are wow at sex, but what if she is cumming five times a day through all sorts of sex with other guys online, then when she finishes the very last thing she wants is to have sex with you? Now that tests your manhood and your real love for her, not to mention your ego, you go through all the emotions, jealousy, betrayal, humiliation, failure, anger, believe me at times it is absolute hell.

Off cam you need to pay careful attention to her emotions and mental state, the sex industry has many hidden psychological dangers that manifest in denial, erratic mood swings, fits of depression, anger and cyberspace can become her world of reality. So you need to be there for her whatever happens, like studio boss hitting on her and trying to fuck her or maybe not paying her. Then there is the abuse she can get online, or by Snap chat or Whats App, maybe a stalker, she may even want to meet members.

Can you handle that guys? Well I can. This is why, our relationship is that strong, and yes I can trust her, like she can trust me. Even normal things like shopping for sexy underwear, or sex toys, well guess what guys? Its not for you. So maybe you’re thinking why don’t you tell her to stop or find another pussy? If you love someone that much you do not judge her by what she does, you let her have her freedom of choice, you stand beside that person and put your heart and soul into supporting her work, loving and trusting her, ready to pick her up when she crashes, and always ready for the unexpected to happen.

It takes a very tough person to date someone who works in the sex industry so make sure you can handle what you're getting yourself into.

Cam models are more sexual than the average human being

I wouldn't go as far as saying cam models crave more sex than most people but I do understand why people are quick to assume such a thing. We are online almost everyday putting sex shows on and portraiting this horny role 24/7. I do think that in order to enjoy and last in this industry you have to be more sexually aware, more in touch with this side of yours but that doesn't mean anything. In fact, I am sure many webcam performers have a pretty low sexual appetite in the outside world. They get to satisfy themselves physically and cum while being online and when they log out they switch off completely from anything related to sex. I don't consider that a downside as long as you're single.

Webcam performers don't have a life outside the virtual community they've created

That is a very false belief . Most of us take time off regularly to make sure we don't neglect our well being, friends and family. It is indeed easy to fall in this trap and lose contact with reality, but I don't think it happens as long as you try to find balance between work and your personal life. I like to keep in touch with my members as often as possible but I have days when I log out of all my social media accounts and take time for myself.
Anyhow, I think anyone can experience burnout, no matter what job they have and it's our responsibility to take time off and practice self care.

Cam models fall in love with their members

Although this is always a possibility, I think most of us have learned how important it is to set boundaries in this industry and I believe it is best for all parties to be aware of these boundaries. It is common, however, for cam models to develop crushes on certain members and feel attracted to how they talk, act and treat them. We are just humble humans after all and we get attached to anyone being kind towards us.

Cam models are only hungry for money

This is like saying all men are assholes. No, not all cam models are hungry for money and it is very easy to see who's in the industry strictly for the financial aspect of it and who isn't. There are people here who put their whole heart, time and energy into everything they're doing, who try to entertain and make you happy even when no tokens are being thrown their way. Tokens are, among other things, a way of showing your appreciation for the host but it's not what this cyber world revolves around. Sometimes all you're being asked for is to just be there and talk to us, comfort us on our bad days like we do with you, and make some nice compliments.

Cam models are dumb and uneducated

If that is what you choose to believe, I understand. But have you taken your time to get to know that model before jumping to such conclusions? Have you talked to her about her beliefs? Her cultural background? Her approach to life? Her life experiences? I get it, not all models offer you the chance to get to know them on a more personal level, but yet again you should not generalize and judge right away. Like it or not, we are more than a piece of meat with a hole between our legs...We also have an asshole and a mouth! (ha ha, just kidding).

Today I've decided to touch on a topic that will hopefully make you smile at least. I've read about several models who prepare and rehearse for their shows in advance which inspred me to write down why that never works. How do I know? I've tried to do it myself a couple of times and I ended up failing badly. I used to feel embarassed about it but now I no longer care because most of the members that visit my room are weird enough to understand  when it happens and actually get entertained by it.

The first time I unexpectedly failed was when I did my first pool show. I set a countdown for the pool show but didn't actually think what I would do once I reached the goal. I guess in my mind I thought I will never reach it because the amount of tokens I set for it was higher than normal. When the countdown was over I was happy, shocked and confused about  how I was going to do a cumshow in there when almost none of my toys were waterproof and the pool was as slippery as ice. I was hoping and praying it would go smoothly. I asked the members to choose the toys so that in case something went wrong I could blame them for choosing the wrong ones (very professional, I know). They chose the hitachi and a buttplug. I had to stay on all fours with my butt directed towards the camera, with one arm holding the hitachi on my clit and the other on the bottom of the pool trying not to lose my balance. I would sometimes have to stop to put the buttplug back inside or otherwise I would've shot it across the room or even worse, shoot the laptop screen and crack it. Eventually I managed to cum and everybody seemed to enjoy it but it was one of the most challenging shows I've ever done. If you are ever interested in doing something similar, you can contact me because I am a pool expert now.

There was another time when I tried to stick a dildo to the floor and ride it. I've had this planned for so long and I thought it would be extremely easy to accomplish. Little did I know that the dildo wouldn't stick until I spit on it and positioning the camera so that everything looks good and sexy  wouldn't be a piece of cake. I had to make my members wait for a good 20 minutes to figure out a way to make it work. Thanks Lord I have patient men in my room, otherwise I would have had a really bad rating now and  terrible reviews. I have to admit, riding a dildo is never as easy as it seems.

But probably my biggest failure was on my camniversary, which happened very recently. I had purchased a confetti gun that I was very excited to use and make a huge mess in the room. I imagined myself several times opening it while playing some dramatic music on the background. I haven't thought, not even for a second that the damn thing wouldn't work...Long story short, somebody tipped for it and I tried to open it but guess what? Nothing came out of it. I tried again and again until I ruined the package. I was disappointed but decided to own the moment and manually shake it above my head until all the confetti came out. You would think these things come with instructions or at least a warning letting you know that they might not work and that you will make  fool of yourself in front of a large audience. Oh well, better luck next time.

As promised, I bring to you a bit of humor with this post. It is not meant to offend or disrespect anyone, it is meant to amuse and shine some light on the funny part of this job so take it lightly. Enjoy!

1.The member who wanks off at anything

This type of member is a true enigma to me. He doesn’t tip, demand or complain about anything. He talks in PMs, sometimes in free chat if he’s feeling particularly brave that day. He has verbal diarrhea and likes to go on and on about how hard you’ve made his cock although you are not doing anything but sit there like an idiot with your clothes on. You are not expected to answer to what he says, he prefers monologue over dialog. He will cum if you smile, if you move a bit to the side, talk, dance or breathe. And then he will cum again. And again. This type of member can most frequently be found within guests and basic members. Very rarely is this type of specimen found within premium members.

2.The 9 inch-er

This member doesn’t really know how to start a conversation. He can’t be asked to read your username so he will most likely call you “bb”, sometimes “bby” if he is in a good mood. The world revolves around him and his cock, but not just any cock…his 9 inch cock to be more precise. He enjoys posting a lot of sexual emotes in free chat, bombard you with PMs about his cock and whether you would be able to handle it or not. He is very sure he can make any woman cum with his 9 inch-er. He sometimes asks for very unrealistic things that he never tips for (to some of you the phrase “Can you fist your ass bb?” might sound very familiar). He is mostly found within premium members and is better to be avoided or banned as soon as possible.

3.The ghost

He never tips or talks but keeps coming back with every chance. He is so silent that he sometimes makes you doubt your own existence. He is found within all categories of members and is probably the creepiest of them all because you don’t know what he’s doing while he’s watching you. Is he staring? Is he licking his screen? Is he even alive? You never know.

4.The over confident one

This one walks in the room with the nose in the air, making random statements and jokes and criticizing everyone. If he is not offered attention he becomes extremely frustrated and potentially verbally aggressive. He will make sure to call you names, anything from “slut” to “poor dirty whore” will work. He is best ignored because that will piss him off and have him leaving the room shortly.

5.The fuck-boy

He is polite to everyone, makes you thousands of compliments, reminds you how much he missed you while you were offline, calls you his queen or his little princess and promises you are the best model he’s ever seen. He excuses himself by saying he has to hit the gym only to be found a couple of minutes later in another model’s room saying the exact same things. He never tips and hopes his compliments will get him stuff for free. He is the biggest snake of them all and you can hear him slithering from miles away. The best way to deal with this member is by learning how to play his games.
When you enter a totally unknown world  like the one of camming you have absolutely no clue what to expect. Most studios brag about offering a training program but that’s a myth. Truth be told, you are completely on your own. Behind every successful model is herself , not a studio (they really have to stop taking credit for it).
Here are 5 things I learned along my journey:

1.Not everybody is your friend

When you’re a newbie, everyone is trying to take advantage of your lack of experience and naivety. They promise you the moon and the stars in exchange for a quick flash and then they just vanish away the same way people and objects disappear in the Bermuda Triangle. They abuse and bully you. They pretend they’re trying to help when all they’re really aiming for is to make you feel like you owe them something. Not everybody is kind, not everybody has good intentions. Virtual life is as bad as real life, if not worse. The only difference is, here you can hide behind a screen which puts you in a position of power.

2. Multitasking

Being bombarded with PMs, requests, texts on Snap-chat while trying to be sexy and cum at the same time is not exactly a piece of cake. It takes a long time to develop this skill and not get into panic mode and feel overwhelmed.

3. Dealing with thousands of different personalities

I must admit, this is one of the most challenging aspect of  this job. Every single individual has a different personality, different cultural background, beliefs and approach to life. When performing for a large audience, you have to take into consideration all these aspects and find a middle ground so that everyone can “work” together in peace. The last thing you want is to offend or upset somebody by mistake or out of ignorance and that is why you have to be careful, sensible, empathetic and understand a little bit of psychology.

4. Being open minded

One of my upcoming posts will be about the unusual requests I have received from members in the last year. They vary from silly things to potentially dangerous ones. Either way, I had to learn to stay open minded enough to be willing to try to get out of my comfort zone. That, my friends, is not something they teach you in school.

5. Don’t judge

Last but no least, I had to accept that I am in no position to judge anyone no matter what. We all have flaws and we are all carrying an emotional baggage. We can’t possibly know what the other person has been through and what influenced them into acting/reacting the way they do. It all comes down to be willing to accept our differences and learning to cope with them, both here and in real life.

My journey as a webcam performer had begun with me looking for a job back in 2017. Shortly after I got accepted into college, I decided it is time to take the bull by the horns and start producing money. I spent a couple of weeks researching platforms that were advertising jobs that varied from part time waitress to full time data analyst. I've sent my CV to several companies and just waited to be contacted back. It wasn't long before a recruiter contacted me saying they were expecting me for an interview the next Monday morning. I was excited but not excited enough. In my mind I was hoping that more opportunities would arise. I accidentally (or not) came across an advert from a studio that looked very colorful and promising. You can kind of guess what happened afterwards, can't you? I missed the morning interview with the company and visited the studio instead.

In Romania, most people do not talk about camming. It is a taboo topic that people try to avoid for the most part, although, ironically, Romanians are all over MFC as well as other camsites. The sex industry is looked down upon and sex workers are probably the most hated ones in the whole country. Not corrupt politicians, not rapists and murderers, not thieves, but SEX WORKERS. And especially CAM MODELS.

As you probably guessed, that is one of the reasons I was so curious about it. I've always wanted to be the type to go against the flow. It goes without saying that it was both my curiosity and sexual awareness that had led me to this industry.
And...That is how it all started. I've had the most wonderful one year of my life, met the funniest and most genuine people in the world, explored myself sexually and most importantly, I've discovered my creative side.

Do I regret not attending that interview? HELL NO.
