BOOK WORMS UNITE! I've always wanted to be able to talk about the current book I'm reading with my friends, and now I can! I'm aiming for us to read one book every 2ish months [cause I know we all have various schedules/busy lives and not everyone can read 1 book a week (like me, I can't do that) so no pressure to read a shit ton]. Everyone who joins will get added to the private Discord channel and people can respond throughout the reading and we can talk about it there and on cam! Club members will have access to vote on a poll that chooses the next book we read (I'll pick the options tho hehe sorry), but I am open to recommendations! BOOKS WE'RE READING/ HAVE ALREADY READ: 1ST BOOK: Washington Black - Esi Edugyan 2ND BOOK: Brave New World - Aldous Huxley 3RD BOOK: The Savage Detectives - Roberto Bolaño 4TH BOOK: The Feast of the Goat - Mario Vargas Llosa Joining the club at any time is encouraged and there is no shame in falling behind on reading or not having time to participate the same amount each time! Reading anything you can is better than reading nothing at all, and you'll be able to semi catch up on stuff you missed by seeing the stuff I post from previous books. This club will be just enough motivation for me to make sure I keep up with my book goals for the year, cause if I won't read for myself, you can bet your buns I'll read for my friends!
