Some of you may remember when I used to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary that helped rescue and care for abandoned exotic animals. It is a non profit organization that takes in animals such as tigers, lemurs, bears, birds, and many other exotic animals. These animals end up homeless for a few reasons. Some people think it would be cool to own an exotic pet then realize it is way too dangerous and difficult to keep them and are forced to get rid of them. Some animals come from busninesses that sell photos with baby exotic animals (usually the tigers) and when the tiger grows up they no longer have use for them. These animals are given the best life possible at the sanctuary, but because of their limited budget they could have much better. After volunteering there I came to love not only the animals, but also the people who worked there everyday for free to take care of them. All tips towards this goal will be donated directly to them by the end of the month.
