Sadly, I was fortunate enough to have the chance to give thanks and say that I’m alive, but unfortunately many friends and family ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ were affected by the earthquake on 10 August, after which nothing was ever the same again; you just wake up from nightmares hoping that the same thing won’t happen again... So I’m joining in to collect food parcels and help out a little. It will take time to get the economy, businesses and jobs ✱✱✱✱ on track and to rebuild homes, just as it will take time to mend our hearts, so I hope this serves as my small contribution… I’m not taking advantage of the situation; you can speak to me personally and offer your support, donations or direct help to the families. This week has been chaotic, but I’m happy to see such unity and solidarity… Hugs, everyone – sometimes words aren’t enough.
