Help Create a Memorial Garden for Papa- On Friday, August 7, 2026, my family unexpectedly lost someone who meant the absolute world to us—my Papa. My papa was not only my grandfather, but he was the one who raised me from 6 months old. He was *my ✱✱✱* in every sense of the word. His presence has been a constant source of love, comfort, support, and practical help (aka, fixing everything for me). Losing him has left a void in my heart and life that words can't accurately describe. Although Papa had experienced medical problems over the years, particularly with his heart, his health had recently seemed to be doing much better. His passing came unexpectedly when he died in his sleep from a heart attack. My family and I are still trying to process the reality that someone who was such a huge part of our lives is suddenly no longer here. Creating a place to remember him- I would like to create a beautiful memorial garden in Papa's honor—a peaceful place where we can go to remember him, talk to him, reflect on the memories we shared, and keep a little ✱✱✱✱✱ of his spirit alive. The garden will be a living memorial: filled with plants, ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱, meaningful decorations, and personal touches that remind us of Papa and the life he lived. Rather than simply being a monument to his passing, I want it to be a place that represents life, love, growth, and remembrance. A place where we can sit and think of him. A place where family and friends can gather. And a place that will continue to grow and bloom as our memories of him live on. Our goal: 100,000tk I am hoping to raise 100,000tk to create the memorial garden and cover the materials and expenses involved in building it. Funds will go toward things such as: Memorial plants and ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ A memorial stone, plaque, or other personalized tribute Garden beds, soil, landscaping materials, and supplies A peaceful seating area Decorative elements and meaningful items honoring Papa (I'm doing a birdbath mosaic DIY with the birdbath I inherited from him) Installation and preparation of the garden space Ongoing materials needed to help maintain the garden *The garden will be mostly portable so if I move in the future, it can come with me* Any amount, no matter how small, will help us bring this vision to life.
