I am moving to the desert (see my desert-life goal) and need to get a set of wheels for my dogs and I (I currently live in a city so I get by without one). I plan to buy used and get something with 4wd that will fair well in the climate and be practical for camping! I used to own a 79 Chevy G10 that I converted the inside of and drove around Baja Mexico for 4 months and I loved having an older vehicle with character and charm- I'd love to get something along the same lines (maybe no so old bc 79 was pushing it with the mechanical issues) of something unique that can be sort of a home on wheels.
