I used to play Double bass the in middle school and my freshman year of high school it was peaceful for me, I absolutely loved it, it was escape for me. Orchestra class was the only class i never skipped and always had an A in. the only reason why i stopped taking it is because i was bullied for it amongst other things, so like any person would try and ultimately failed to do is of course change to fit in which only worked my sophomore year after that i quickly learned i will never see these people again so mother fuck them. but anyways i couldn't do Orchestra any more because of my year placement[ i would've had to be in a class full of freshmen and that was a no go for me so i never touched a bass again. My goal is to reteach myself how to read sheet music and to play it every day for you guys even if it is shitty, that is the fun of it learning and laughing. the cheapest Standing bass is priced around $1778.99 + the book+ bow+ resin = 2,000 i would actually shit and cry .
