On April 26th, 2017, I crashed my first car in my first accident. As a replacement car, my parents and I bought a used PT cruiser (not in photo - pic is stock from google). In the first month, water began pouring into the passenger seat; the AC tube burst. Next the switch that controls the drivers side window sparked & began to smoke. The window no longer goes up or down. Then the gear shift snapped. The car wouldn't drive or push in drive/neutral or reverse. It was just stuck. The breaks sound like a wooden roller coaster (chuk - chuk - chuk) mixed with a bike that has playing cards in the spokes (whoooshhhhhhwhoooshhhh). The radiator needed to be replaced. The window washer squirter is disconnected from the hose. The power steering fluid cap is the wrong cap so it just spins and you and feel the car skiiiirtttt when driving. She loses control a lot. Recently the car wouldn't start unless the gas pedal was being held down, and even then it'd struggle to turn over. The battery was just replaced. I named her Regan because she needs an exorcism. I plan to buy sage soon. Nearly every time I take her to the mechanic she acts normal, but as soon as I'm back to driving it's like she's trying to kill me. I desperately need to save for a new car and I have ZERO savings.
