Summer is officially here, and my 20+ rescue cats have collectively decided that 30°C+ is not their vibe. 😂 We are turning the container and the yard into the ultimate cool haven, and here is the master plan we’re funding today: 🌿 Doubling the Shade Netting: I need to install a massive, heavy-duty second layer of professional shading cloth over the shelter area to completely block the harsh sun rays and drop the ambient temperature. 🤍 Clean White Linoleum Flooring: Right now, the dark/black ✱✱✱✱✱✱ tiles absorb and radiate a massive amount of heat from the ground. I am going to completely cover them with bright white linoleum to reflect the heat and create a beautifully clean, clinical, and fresh floor for the kitties. ❄️ 30 Premium Cooling Mats: Every single cat in my care deserves their own icy-cool spot to rest their paws. I want to buy 30 specialized cooling gel mats so they can sleep comfortably without overheating. I am so, so incredibly grateful for your kindness, your laughs, and your constant support.
