🤍 Our Journey & Goal Update 🤍 I am writing this with a heart overflowing with emotion and ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ gratitude. When I first set our MFC Share goal at 900,000 tokens for a whole year, I could only dream of reaching it. But because of your unimaginable kindness, your compassion, and the pure love you shower upon my rescue babies, we achieved the entire year's goal in just 6 months.🥳🥳🥳 I honestly sit here in awe of you. You didn't just tip or contribute you became the reason these precious souls are alive, warm, fed, and loved today. You are literally saving lives right alongside me, and words will never be enough to thank you for holding my ✱✱✱✱ on this journey. 🙏🙏 As you know, my heart can never turn away an animal in desperate need. Over these past few months, life brought us so many unexpected emergencies. We took in over 10 more sweet cats, and many of them arrived as heartbreaking, severe medical cases, souls that had no one else in this world and required urgent surgeries, intensive care, and costly treatments to survive. I had the courage to take them in and didn't even blink when the vet bills came, because we were so far ahead with our goal. Being able to save them felt like an absolute blessing rather than a financial burden. My greatest wish is to never have to turn away a heart in need, no matter how fragile or challenging their condition may be. Your grace and generosity create a safe haven that allows us to always offer hope, open our doors, and say a reassuring 'yes' whenever a precious life needs saving this is why I made the decision to adjust our 1-year goal to 1.7 Million tokens for our remaining 6 months. I want to be 100% transparent with you: this isn't just a number on a screen. These are some of the most profound, life-changing stories we’ve lived together this year: 1. Over 10 new babies: Beyond the obvious emergencies, rescuing feral and critically ill cats comes with significant hidden costs. A single rescue requires at least three full rounds of specialized deworming to break the parasite cycle, quarantine along with spaying and the essential vaccinations before they can safely join the rest of the shelter. On top of that, many of these 10 precious souls arrived in severe critical condition: 🩹 ✱✱✱-by-car Trauma & Neurological Damage: Requiring emergency ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱, , nerve therapy pills, and long-term monitoring. 🫘 ✱✱✱-Stage Renal Disease (✱✱✱✱✱✱ Failure): Demanding ongoing fluid therapy over 1 month, specialized renal diets, daily medications, and regular test in order to provide them quality of life and comfort. 🫁 Severe Pneumonia & Lung/Heart Parasites: Requiring ✱✱✱✱✱✱ support, intense antibiotic treatments, and specialized protocols for heartworm and lungworm eradication. 💔 Severe Anorexia & Dental Disease: Cats in such pain from decayed teeth and infected gums that they stopped ✱✱✱✱✱✱ altogether requiring complex dental surgeries, tooth extractions. 🛡️ FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) Case: Needing continuous, specialized medical management and long-term supportive care to protect their immune system 🦠 FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) Diagnosis: Requiring an intensive, life-saving course of advanced GS treatment, carefully sourced directly from Germany. 🩺 Four Panleukopenia cases. 2. ✱✱✱ Emergencies Our ✱✱✱ family also ✱✱✱✱✱ heartbreaking medical crises this year: 🐕 Mama Bear: Underwent two major ear surgeries and is currently being monitored for a ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ third operation. 🐕 Happy: ✱✱✱ by a car needed emergency treatment 3.✱✱✱ Spaying While not initially in our annual plan, we made the important decision to proceed with spaying the ✱✱✱✱. This It is a crucial step for their safety and peace. It prevents them from ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ away after females in heat, getting ✱✱✱ by cars, or getting into dangerous, territorial fights with each other. 4. Future Projects for the Shelter Looking ahead, we are ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ toward two major improvements that will transform their lives: 🌧️ Full Yard Roofing: Covering the outdoor area entirely so our rescues stay completely dry and protected from rain and snow. It would feel like such an incredible upgrade for their daily comfort! 🏠 30 Winter Cages: Investing in 30 specialized cages to ensure every single animal stays warm, safe, and sheltered during the harsh winter months. You are the ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ heart of this rescue. Thank you for believing in me, for loving these cats as if they were your own, and for making the impossible happen every single day.
