My parents never owned a home, we were always switching places. My entire childhood was about growing up and having my own place, and so I've worked towards this goal my entire life, thinking that the moment I would achieve it, it would bring me happiness and relief.When I finally got there, I've realised that it didn't matter anymore, I wasn't happy nor relieved because I was with the wrong partner by my side. During the divorce process my ex took the home from me. Now, having a home, it's still my number one goal. I don't want my kids to grow up the way I did, because to be honest, it was very traumatic for me. Help us get a home, a place where we can feel safe.
