Its still such a blur i cant remember how many days ago it happened. My beautiful baby started showing all the signs listed on the photo I have posted here. I feel extremely lucky, in this bad luck, that i was fully aware of bloat and the symptoms. Within 5 minutes we were in the car, and i was calling the vet, hysterical, telling them my boy was dying. The sounds a dog in true agonizing pain and distress are sounds you can never forget. Especially when it is your own dog. When left without immediate treatment (the only treatment being an emergency surgery) the dog will first lose his spleen, and the others will start shutting down as the blood and oxygen flow is blocked by the stomach torsion. Its a fairly quick, but extremely painful death. I hope you and your pet never have to experience this!! The vet bill was 13k, but thank God i only have approximately 2.5k out of pocket as I had insurance I had only taken a month before. Thank you so much for your contribution!
