DSLR used for Streaming:
Budget friendly lens: 16-50 E-mount power-zoom lens - it can be remote controlled with the Sony Alpha remote.
- Sony Alpha series Remote Control - I use this to self-shoot all my content.
- Camlink 4K via Micro HDMI-HDMI to make camera a webcam input
- Dummy battery for Sony A series - keeps camera on plugged into an outlet
Edelkrone Pan Tilt Zoom Camera Mount:
- Edelkrone Tripod HeadPlus for Pan & Tilt on my camera with DC power adaptor
- Edelkrone Lens Controller used to Zoom my lens with lens teeth attachment
- Edelkrone Remote Controller* to operate both accessories + rechargeable AA batteries
- Carbon Fiber Tripod
*The remote control works amazing, but will require you to memorize the menus to effectively pan/tilt and zoom seemlessly during streams. Pan/Tilt is in a different menu than Zoom, since they are two separate items on the mount. You can even make "presets" for the camera to Pan/Tilt and Zoom by itself with the touch of a button.
DSLR used for content - Photography, videography, and alternate portrait view for streaming. Works with same Sony A series remote
- Sony a7rii
- 50mm portrait lens for shooting
- 28mm wide angle lens good for streaming
This camera takes the same Dummy battery as the Sony a6400 and I have an additional Camlink 4K via Micro HDMI-HDMI for shooting (using my laptop as a monitor)
iPhone Streaming
For mobile and portable scenarios, I use my iPhone 11 Pro as my webcam!
Any phone can be used as your webcam - you'll need Camo Studio Pro on your phone from the app store, and also install on your computer. It's $5 a month and it works great! Just add it to OBS / XSplit like you would a normal webcam once set up. (Camo)
Phone Stand with built in Ring Light (Amazon)
The best portable microphone for laptops & mobile streaming:
Samson Go Mic (Amazon) - I cannot recommend this enough! It sounds just like my Yeti.
Streaming:
XSplit Broadcaster (I enjoy XSplits interface better for my system but OBS works too)
Via Myfreecams, External Broadcaster in 1080p
Recommended bitrate: 3000-4000
I record shows in 4k simultaneously which is a unique feature to XSplit
Computer:
CybertronPC Desktop - NVIDIA 3070TI - 64GB Memory - i78700K Intel Core
Dell 4k Monitor
Custom Silent Cherry Red Keyboard made by my friend & model AubriToffee
Sound:
Blue Yeti Microphone
Blue Compass Mic Boom
Blue Yeti Shock Mount
Logitech z600 Bluetooth Speakers - wired - placed OFF the desk to reduce bass
Lighting: (placed behind my cam, one on each side)
Newer 20 inch Yellow/White light Ring light
14 inch Yellow/White light Ringlight
Color Lighting:
20 watt Colored Flood Lighting
RGBW Solid Color Stage Lighting - wireless - with built in DMX transmitters
