Not having health insurance truly SUCKS! I got my IUD replaced as soon as Trump became president and at that time, I was living in Washington State and had health insurance. I didn't owe a dime for the procedure! Fast forward several years, I am slightly past due to have my IUD replaced... Calling into Planned Parenthood today, I was told that in Maricopa county there are very limited doctors willing to do an IUD removal and replacement without insurance, and those that do complete the procedure are charging upwards of $1,750-$2,000 and are quite booked out.... that being said, if I drive the 2 hours to Tucson, it will only be $660. Goal includes price of procedure, gas and hotel for a night. IUD replacements are INCREDIBLY painful but I really need my birth control to be changed! Anything helps clear this goal ASAP.
