Ok let's try this again with the right video... I guess I'll just link it =(
VLOGHi, This is probably going to be my first blog/journal style post in here. I tend to tell people a lot and sometimes ramble in my vlogs but I thought this may be as good of a place as any to share.
My Vlogs are going to be voiceovers on videos I've taken of my art process during my live streams.
So, on to the beginning:
My mom has recently had a pretty major surgery on her hip.
They created a special piece with 3d printing to replace what she lost after the last surgery. Her recovery is going to take quite a while, so she's been staying at a nursing home near me.
It's been stressful, to say the least. Some stuff that I can't really say other places I will probably say here. My mom has become pretty delusional lately and I don't really know how to handle it. She treats things like they are a conspiracy and everyone is out to get her.
Since she's been there she has :
- Accused a nurse of throwing her blankets on the floor (the nurse said she didn't)
- Accused the SAME nurse of being a nurse who didn't bring her dinner one night. She claims she was awake (she wasn't) and that she waited for food and the nurse lied and said she brought it. Turns out it was a different nurse and they have it on file that it was brought.
- Accused someone of taking her constriction tights before PT just to make her 'look crazy'
- Started to accuse a nurse of putting bleach in her water. Where I live the water smells/tastes terrible and not unlike bleach. I let her know that I brought her bottled water to combat that for a reason.
- Accused a nurse of touching her wound (through clothes and bedding) on purpose to 'hurt' her when trying to wake her up.
- Now thinks there is a conspiracy to kick her out.
- Told a different staff member she would 'get them fired and blacklisted from ever working with patients again'
The whole thing is just the tip of the yikesburg. I'm going to be telling some pretty crazy stories coming up soon and they will only be available here because it's just not safe to share them anywhere else.
At the best of times, I can barely be around her. This last week has been one of the most stressful things I've had to endure in years, and I had a spinal surgery a couple years ago. My sister has been staying with me during her spring break, but she's back at school now and Yesterday was my first breather after doing taxes.
This weekend I'm supposed to go out but I don't want to do anything but be lazy lol.
Anyway- welcome to my first blog.
