In the park stood a pretty girl,
Beside a tree she stood in swirl,
Her hair a golden cascade unfurled,
And in the breeze it gently twirled.
The sun shone bright upon her face,
And highlighted each delicate trace,
Of beauty that adorned her grace,
And made her presence fill the space.
The leaves rustled gently at her feet,
As she stood there looking sweet,
And in her eyes there was a beat,
That made my heart skip and fleet.
I watched her from afar,
As she stood there like a star,
And wished that I could be a part,
Of the beauty that she did impart.
For in that moment I was sure,
That she was the one I did adore,
And standing there by the tree,
She was all the world to me.
