Hey Bee I miss talking to you but my work schedule is now late shift & also I had sugery on July 25 for the removal of mine gallbladder because they found gallstones I was in excruciating pain on Sunday July 21 which I had to take uber to ER

How do you reason a dog to not tug a leash? I've tried a Martindale collar, gentle leader, treats, and even a water pistol when he yanks, but he just doesn't care. He's ~24kg of muscle, and I tore my rotator cuff holding on when he took off for a squirrel

Ohhh shiiit. Ouch! You can't reason with a dog not to do something but you can train them!

I've been teaching my dog 'heel' and keeping him on a short leash by my side. I keep telling him 'heel' and let him know he is doing good by saying "good boy" when he is staying is not pulling ahead (he really likes knowing he is doing good I think). When I think he might be in an excited state (like walking past dogs) I will put him into a 'high collar' to stop him from lunging forward.

Anyway! I am not a dog trainer, I just watch youtube videos on dog training. It would probably be a lot easier for you to work with a dog trainer to teach your dog to walk in heel if he is a stubborn dog who doesn't wanna listen!

You should keep having Uncle Toby's Oats but put something else on top instead. You can put fruits or syrups. If you really don't want oats, I suggest some fruit with greek yoghurt or avocado on toast.
